Leadership Cayman is a dynamic, intensive, and interactive six-month programme introduced by the Cayman Islands Chamber of Commerce in 2009. The programme promotes and enhances community leadership through an in-depth introduction to social, economic, business, and political issues in the Cayman Islands. The class attends bi-weekly seminars, learning from experts and local leaders who serve as panelists at each session.
Every year a new group of leaders is selected to be a part of this one of a kind programme designed for participants to connect with each other and business and community leaders, grow their leadership skills and community knowledge, and inspire their industry, community and peers.
Leadership Cayman offers established and emerging leaders a unique opportunity to be part of a group tha together:
The Planning Committee (PC) is comprised of alumni of Leadership Cayman and lead by a Chairperson and Co-Chairperson, who are elcted for a one-year term. The PC, lead by the Chairperson, are responsible for the effective functioning of the annual Leadership Cayman programme. They are also responsible for selecting the new LC class.

Application Criteria
Prospective applicants for the Leadership Cayman programme must meet four (4) entry requirements:
Tuition
There are two tuition cost options for Chamber members and Non-Chamber members. If accepted into the programme, full tuition is due prior to the Opening Retreat.
Member Cost: KYD $2,600
Non-Member Cost: KYD $2,850
Applications for the next Leadership Cayman class will open from the 1 July 2024 to 8 November 2024.
Leadership Cayman has a competitive selection process and due to space limitations, only 25 candidates will be accepted. Completion of the application form does not ensure acceptance. The planning committee will grade all applications and only the top 35 applicants will be invited for a face-to-face interview with the same PC members.
